Was a Little Out of It

Sorry for the absence. I was limiting my screen time, and dealing with “issues”. Then, out of the blue I got a very weird headache yesterday that lasted until 8 pm. Stress? Stroke? Jostling from the car incident? No idea.

It rained, so rain lilies and their golden cousins pop up.

I was no good to anyone in the meeting I was at in the morning. I mostly worried people. But the wildflower brochure is being printed now!

Thanks to that brochure I hit the first post-certification milestone for Master Naturalist. 250 volunteer hours. That’s me and Lisa.

I managed to get some “real job” work done, and then begged out and got my nails done. Of course, Yoe High maroon and silver. Tina did a great job making up a technique!

It was weird that I started to feel better at the football game. As the full moon rose, my head got more clear! It was like a fog lifting! And the game was so much fun! Sara joined me and Cathy, and we enjoyed watching our friend’s son score three touchdowns in a quarter.

The harvest moon later rose over these clouds.

We had to put some medicine on Apache’s foot, so Sara and I got together for that. There we found a huge fire ant megalopolis complete with bonus grasshoppers and winged ants. I love nature, but not fire ants.

Before the city was destroyed by Sara.

And just for a bit more cuteness, here’s Jess, one of Sara’s blue heelers. Makes me miss Brody.

Jess is a beautiful dog!

Now we are getting ready for a wedding. My outfit goes with my nails! I’m set.
