Don’t Feel Like It

I just don’t feel like writing. I think that’s okay, because judging from my stats, no one feels like reading chatty blogs about nature and pets, either. Our thoughts are elsewhere. We’re concerned and distracted.

I think Carlton knows I’m not at my best. He’s really attached these days. Here he’s “helping” me check the rain gauge.

So, I wish you peace and safety. I’ll be back after the Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday.

I’ll watch over Suna tomorrow.

  1. Your blogs are often a bright spot in my day – love nature and pets, and miss seeing them. I’m definitely distracted by what’s going on. Our states are among the 8 that are ignoring the U.S. Flag Code and will have US flags fully raised tomorrow, though they’re supposed to remain at half-staff for 30 days after the death of a president or former president. That’s just … appalling. F’n appalling. Don’t know if it’s just for state or national buildings, or if it will be enforced. I don’t want to see a flag tomorrow.
