Birds September 2025

Here are the birds observed at the Hermits’ Rest in September 2025. I was camping for just a few days, but got to listen a lot when I was home! This month I saw many interesting birds up close, like Yellow-breasted Chats and many hawks. New birds at the ranch included a very surprising Anhinga and an Eastern Screech Owl (yay!). Who knows where that Anhinga came from?
