Birds April 2025

Here are the birds observed at the Hermits’ Rest in April 2025. They were either identified by Merlin Bird ID or by sight. I was only at home through April 20 but still managed to see or hear 99 birds. There were days I identified more than fifty birds, and that’s with much of the month being so windy that it was hard to hear anything. There was even one new bird, which I was quite surprised about, the American Golden-plover. As usual, I wonder if it was a Merlin error.
