The last major thing I’d been waiting for in my Cameron office was glass shelves in the window that faces the hallway. I had visions of my red, orange, and pink glass collection shining in the window, and hoped the reality would live up to the vision. What do you think?
I’m pretty ecstatic. It came out just how I’d hoped. It was fun cleaning all the shelves and arranging the items. CC came up with the idea to put some of my fake candles on there, and it was a great touch. I just can’t stop looking at everything. I even like the big, green vase in the middle. It centers things.
Here are some “in progress” photos, to memorialize how it will never look again, all clean and empty.
Moving all the glass to the window allowed me to clear off my desk and other parts of the room, so it looks less cluttered now. That should be very popular with the people who keep commenting on the room being crowded. I like it just the way it is.
I’m just so happy with how things look, though I’m sure I’m not done rearranging things. Most of the place looks nice, to me, and since I’m the one working here, that’s all that matters.
New plant shelf here and the stained glass is hung higher. Bookshelf has all the books, plus the painted ceramics Catherine gave me. Believe it or not, there’s a lot less on my desk. There is still work to be done on these shelves. Here’s the window with the filing cabinet put back. There’s much less on the mantel now, even with the seasonal decorations.
I’m very grateful for all CC’s help with this. I feel safe and warm now (even got to turn down the thermostat!).
Love this!

Your decor is so like ours! We will keep you in mind if more painted stuff comes our way. Also have two indoor plants to donate. BTW
